About the Role
- The Site Engineer responsible for the installation of Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) plays a crucial role in managing the entire installation process. Reporting to the Project Manager, this position involves collaborating with contractors and suppliers, ensuring that the project adheres to specifications and timelines, conducting thorough site inspections, and troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise. Additionally, the engineer is tasked with keeping accurate records, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders, and upholding safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication skills are vital for the successful delivery of ASRS installation projects and ensuring client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete installation process of Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS).
- Report directly to the Project Manager, ensuring alignment with project specifications and timelines.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to facilitate smooth workflow.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Adhere strictly to safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Engineering graduate with a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation disciplines.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the installation of Storage Racks or Steel Structures,
- preferably with exposure to Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS).
- Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong knowledge and experience with MS Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
